Woah, it's Week 37 of HOMwork 2019!

I love podcasts (like every other artist in their late 20's haha).
They’re one of my favorite ways to learn something new while I'm doing a more repetitive task, like filling in the outlines of a drawing or making a huge delicious mess in the kitchen.
The best thing about podcasts is that there’s one for every interest under the sun, and even the bigger ones have what feels like an intimate cult following. Podcasts are a great way to stay connected to a larger group of people who share your interests, which is why my friend Stefan Kunz and I decided to create one of our own!
Introducing The Striving Artist, a podcast for creative people working towards BIG goals. Listen in on candid conversations between Stefan and I that dive deep into making art, making a living and making it all work as a modern-day artist. Your Assignment: Make fan art for a podcast you love and tag them in your post!
Here are some ideas to get you started:
Redesign their logo
Letter a quote from an episode you love
Make an illustration of the host(s)
Making fan art for something niche like your favorite podcast (as opposed to a Marvel movie) is an amazing way to get noticed, whether it’s by the people actually making the podcast or by other fans.
Post your assignment on Instagram using the hashtag #HOMwork and don't forget to tag me @homsweethom because I'll be sharing my faves in my Story all week. Can't wait to see what podcasts you're all listening to so I can add them to my list!
