WEEK 32
Hey there, thanks for joining us for Week 32 of HOMwork 2020!
This week, we have the amazing Zipeng Zhu as a guest teacher.
Zipeng Zhu is a Chinese-born designer, art director, illustrator and animator in New York City who wants to make everyday a razzle-dazzle musical. His clients include Apple, Adidas, Adobe, Coca-Cola, Microsoft, Twitter, Netflix, New York Times, Harry’s, Viacom, The New Yorker, Away, CNN, Refinery29, Chobani, and Samsung. He is one of the Art Directors Club Young Guns 13 winners and has been recognized as Print magazine’s New Visual Artist and The One Show Young Ones. Now he runs his creative practice Dazzle Studio and gift shop Dazzle Supply to push dazzle to the next level.
From Zipeng:
Masks not only protect you and others, but also provide a new way of self-expression.
Your assignment: Design a mask that makes a statement.
Yup, that’s it! Wearing a mask is a simple way to protect yourself and others, and this assignment is a simple way to explore your creativity.
Don’t forget to use the hashtag #HOMwork2020 tag @zzdesign and @homsweethom when you post your work on Instagram. We’ll be sharing our favorites in our Stories all week. Can’t wait to see what creative mask designs you come up with!
