After talking with thousands of letterers over the years, I realized that figuring out WTF TO LETTER was a huge road block for a lot of people to *even begin* working on a piece of lettering.

On top of that, many lettering artists confessed to me that they dreamed of being their true, weird, irreverent selves on social media...but that it felt risky (“what will other people think?”)...so they stuck with lettering safe/vanilla/mild things.

That's why I created WTF Should I Letter, a quirky phrase generator for when you need interesting ideas for things to letter (aka song lyrics and random words aren’t quite doing it for you anymore).

How it works:

1. Head to wtfshouldiletter.com and write down/screenshot your favorite phrases.

2. Letter the phrases and post them to Instagram using #WTFShouldILetter and tagging @wtfshouldiletter
